Big Show vs Kane (WWE, 5-8-2006)

“The last time these two hooked up, Kane literally tried to take Big Show’s eye.” Big Show is nice and smiley and has been trying to reason with Kane lately, but Kane’s not having it. These two are former tag team champions.

Show offers a handshake, or a fist bump, Kane kinda bumps the fist, and the bell sounds. “He’s a complex man, is Kane.” Kane to a waistlock, more a chest lock. Show with a takedown. What the fuck is this

Anyway, now Kane with a side headlock, has to reach too high to get it on right. Kane off the ropes, Show doesn’t budge on a shoulder. Big Show with a drop toehold. What the fuck is this

Big Show shows off his footwork. Show asks for a test of strength, gets it, and overpowers Kane. Kane is bridging down, and then back up. Big Show with a fireman’s carry slam. JR is befuddled by this display of wrestling.

What the hell are these two doing and why? Big Show with a heel trip and a cover for two. C&E, Kane to a fucking hammerlock. SOMEONE HIT SOMEONE. Show reverses the hammerlock. JR is “shocked.” Another reversal, this time from Kane. Show with a drop toehold, floats over to nothing. Side headlock from Show.

WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS

Hammerlock again from Kane. Fans getting restless with this shit. Show breaks in the corner. Show charges the corner but is caught with a drop toehold. “BORING” chant from at least one guy.

Hey now there’s the May 19 video on the tron. Kane is flustered and comes down from the top rope. Now Kane’s mad. Kane gets a chair and whacks Show in the stomach and across the back, now more shots to the shoulder and back. Referee has just left. “Kane, he’s your friend!” Kane has lost his mind.

And apparently that’s just that.
