WWE WrestleMania XXX, New Orleans, LA
A request! Why? I don’t know! Some people are real battle royal perverts out there. And truth be told I’ve kinda enjoyed watching them more than I used to by doing #Blogging about it on this #Blog.

A request! A match I’d totally forgotten about, but I did remember the food fight that opened the Independence Day Raw as soon as I saw Kevin Owens sitting at a table, before it all broke down, because I instantly remembered him calmly crawling under a table with a bag of Lay’s to ride out the storm. It was actually a really fun WWE goofy segment that they, as always, wound up taking one extra beat too far for it to hit as well as it could have.

Another new week, and another one with a pay-per-view extravaganza!

I used to do threads on Twitter where I was watching old shows in order; it started with just doing WWF TV of 1994, then obviously I couldn’t not watch the PPVs, then I added ECW, then I added WCW, and before you knew it, it was a whole thing.
I haven’t done it in about nine months, leaving off with the Nov. 4, 1995 edition of WCW Worldwide. Part of this is my wrestling watching goes in spurts. A bigger part is doing all the GIFs and video clipping and whatnot is really time-consuming; watching a one-hour show turns into two-and-a-half hours at best.
But now that I’m just doing whatever with this Blog Site, I thought I’d pick up. I didn’t want to go right from where I left off, so we will start with a new week, just two days later but skipping some B-shows on the weekend.

Request via Ko-Fi. I have never seen this match. Low point years for my wrestling fandom, which is less to do with any quality or lack thereof than just where I was in life. This is the night after WrestleMania XXV, and this is billed as the “WrestleMania All-Star Tag Team Match.”

Finally, my most anticipated match of the show. this is the most “Tony Khan used to book TNM7 feds” thing, having a “cool down match” before the main because that is just a thing that’s done. I did the same thing in TNM7 feds, and if you gave me money I’d do it for real, too.

WCW Starrcade, Washington, DC
DDP had been embroiled in a U.S. title feud with Bret Hart, and The Giant got involved and gave Page a SUPER chokeslam on a Nitro. Then Giant later chokeslammed Page off the Nitro set through some boards or whatever. Page turned his focus to “GIANT SCUM!” as Bret was dealing with whichever injury at the time, I think his groin still.
