Ultimate Warrior vs Orlando Jordan (NWE, 6-25-2008)

NWE Summer Tour: Return of the Warrior, Barcelona, Spain

NWE, or Nu-Wrestling Evolution from 2005-13 and then, briefly, New Wrestling Entertainment in 2013 before it shut down, was a promotion based in Italy, and it’s where the Ultimate Warrior wrestled his last match in 2008, four months shy of 10 years after what had been his final match, his legendarily disastrous debacle with Hulk Hogan at Halloween Havoc ’98, which I meant to link here because I was certain I’d done a review on it for this site, but apparently I haven’t.

Anyway, the reason I’m watching this match today is because Goldberg is apparently considering doing a self-promoted, four-city farewell tour, and I referenced this match on Twitter. After providing proof that I was serious, and that this did exist and actually happened, someone gave me three American dollars. In all honesty:

1. I almost expected that would happen.
2. There’s a decent chance I would have wound up watching it today without the three American dollars, so at least I have that as the reason, so thank you.

You can also make me watch dumb matches. And I will! Also, I’ve never watched this match. Never seemed worthwhile. More because there’s not been a moment in my entire life I gave a fuck about Orlando Jordan.
