Big Show vs Rob Van Dam vs Hardcore Holly vs Bobby Lashley vs Test vs CM Punk (ECW, 12-3-2006)

ECW December to Dismember, Augusta, GA

A request. It’s the EXTREME Elimination Chamber for Big Show’s fake ECW title. These Extremists will be extreming all over the ECW hotbed of Augusta, Georgia!

This Chamber is different from normal: It has weapons. Extreme weapons!

(Requests open and tips always appreciated!)

Bam Bam Bigelow vs Rob Van Dam (ECW, 4-8-1998)

ECW Hardcore TV, Buffalo, NY

A request! Taped on April 4 in Buffalo, aired on Hardcore TV a few days later. As usual, listing the TV date for the great SEO on this WordPress blog in case people are searching for the match by that.

Bigelow is defending the TV title, which he’d won from Taz at Living Dangerously on March 1 in Asbury Park, arguably the biggest singles match win of Bigelow’s career. I know he’d beaten Shane Douglas for the ECW “world” title in late ’97, but honestly, Taz as TV champion by March ’98 was just stronger and on a bigger run than Shane Douglas as “world” champ in October ’97.

Triple H vs Rob Van Dam vs Shawn Michaels vs Kane vs Booker T vs Chris Jericho (WWE, 11-17-2002)

WWE Survivor Series, New York, NY

A request! I loved this match. The first-ever Elimination Chamber, with Triple H defending the “world heavyweight championship” against the other five lads in this NEW demonic structure.

I used to have this show on DVD; it was right before I started being able to buy PPVs monthly, so I didn’t see it live. I sold that DVD at some point. Now, as I am older and back to collecting DVDs, I kinda wish I had it, even if I haven’t really beefed up my wrestling DVD collection, because it’s an expensive habit to catch up over so many years. Ah, well. ANYWAYS,

Rob Van Dam & Lance Storm vs Scott Steiner & Chris Jericho (WWE, 10-20-2003)

WWE Monday Night Raw, Wilkes-Barre, PA

This is a request. Steiner and Jericho are part of Team Bischoff for Survivor Series, but can they get along? RVD is part of Team Austin for Survivor Series. Lance Storm is also here! This is in that brief period where Storm got a “party” theme and danced a lot and they were making fun of him not being “entertaining” normally.

Ric Flair vs Bobby Lashley vs Rob Van Dam vs Finlay vs Shelton Benjamin vs Matt Hardy (WWE, 4-2-2006)

WWE WrestleMania 22, Rosemont, IL

This is the second-ever Money in the Bank ladder match, and like pretty much all modern recurring WWE concepts such as this, the idea peaked with the first one (Hell in a Cell, Elimination Chamber), but you can still have great matches even if they don’t really ever top the novelty of seeing it all the first time.

Stone Cold’s Team vs Bischoff’s Team (WWE, 11-16-2003)

Screen Shot 2018-06-02 at 8.09.24 PM.png

WWE Survivor Series, Dallas, TX

This is a request via Ko-fi. I probably haven’t watched this match since 2003. It’s Team Austin (Shawn Michaels, Rob Van Dam, Booker T & The Dudley Boyz) facing Team Bischoff (Chris Jericho, Christian, Randy Orton, Mark Henry & Scott Steiner), with sole control of RAW as General Manager on the line for Steve Austin and Eric Bischoff. It’s a traditional Survivor Series elimination match.
