WWF Wrestling Challenge, Huntington, WV
This is a request via Ko-fi. Nearing the end of the Rockers run, just before Survivor Series ’91.
Typhoon and Michaels start. Typhoon backs Shawn to the corner, throws him a bit, forearm, off the ropes, Michaels ducks a clothesline, makes Typhoon step over, but gets caught in mid-air. Michaels rakes the eyes, and the Rockers double team with a schoolboy trip. They hit a wishbone split.
Jannetty in. Marty gets backed into the wrong corner, Earthquake tags in, but Marty slips out to the floor. Rockers trying to figure out a plan of attack against the much larger team. Jannetty comes back in and tries to whip Earthquake, but fails. Quake sends Jannetty to the corner, he moves from a charge, but misses one of his own. Marty down and Quake has a chance.
Earthquake with a forearm over the back, scoop powerslam. Quake stomps around for the big ass splash, but Michaels trips him from the outside. He doesn’t quite trip him down, but he stops him. Typhoon tags in and slams Marty, then drops a big fat elbow. He misses a second try.
Marty rolls around and tags Shawn back in. Michaels goes at Typhoon, mounts in the corner for a 10-punch, but Quake comes in. Marty comes over after Shawn moves, double noggin knocker, Jannetty jumps at Quake but gets caught. Shawn dives off the second rope for a two count, knocking both guys over. Referee has no idea who’s legal and neither do I.
Shawn gets squished between the Disasters in the corner. Marty chases Jimmy Hart. Big fat elbow from Earthquake on Shawn, off the ropes, ASS SPLASH. Typhoon tagged. Big splash! 1, 2, 3.
Rating: 2/5. Quick and to the point, Natural Disasters look ready for LOD, and you can see why Shawn turned on Marty, my man got left to die because Jannety was chasing Jimmy fuck Hart and his megaphone.
