AZM defends her High Speed championship against Mei Seira, who pinned AZM in a tag match at All Star Grand Queendom on April 23. Seira had a shot at the belt in December 2020, also against AZM, losing that one in Osaka.

REVIEW: Stardom All Star Grand Queendom (4-23-2023)

LIVE from Yokohama for 32 American dollars and some odd cents or something! I bought this PPV because I just cannot get enough wrestling and I want to see Mercedes vs Mayu something fierce, let’s be real. There are other matches I really want to see, too — Giulia vs Tam Nakano, notably, plus Syuri vs Chihiro Hashimoto, Saya Kamitani vs Mina Shirakawa, and so on, I know names, and things — but I probably don’t do this live if not for Mercedes vs Mayu.

This is for AZM’s High Speed title. Apparently in this persona, the veteran Kaori Yoneyama is “the happy wrestler.” She has clown cheek paint like my grandma put on me when I was a little kid for Halloween. I have never forgiven the woman.

Never seen Natsupoi but she’s got a strong rating on the Cagematch web site. Have seen Konami a bunch, love Konami, hope she does some kicks.

Mayu Iwatani vs Momo Watanabe (Stardom, 1-19-2020)

Red belt main event from Korakuen! This is Momo’s third challenge for the World of Stardom title. Mayu comes in not totally sure about the actual date but that’s OK.

Konami vs Rachael Ellering (Stardom, 9-1-2018)

This match got some, uh, chatter on the internet. I don’t remember who has how many points and frankly I’ve lost interest in following the points standings all that closely, I just wanna watch the matches. And this match specifically I want to watch to see if it leaves up to the, erm, hype.

Kagetsu vs Natsuko Tora (Stardom, 8-26-2018)

Kagetsu is 1-1, Tora is 0-3. This is the main event of the day three night show. Kagetsu holds a package of Cup Noodles (based in Osaka, see) and promises that if she doesn’t win in under three minutes, she’ll let Tora win.
